
Regular, Full-Time position at Chi Hullo Li | Pay: $15.95/hr start | Schedule: Night and weekend shifts

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring client’s safety and well-being during scheduled shift. You will provide supportive services and assistance to the clinical treatment team by monitoring client’s conduct and maintaining records of client activity during shift. You will report to the Supervisor.
Primary Tasks:
1. Provide supervision and guidance to the clients as outlined in client handbook and following daily treatment schedule.
2. Observe and accurately document client’s self-administration of medication in medication log according to policy and procedure.
3. Document all necessary information and incidents that occur during shift in shift summary report to ensure transitions between shifts.
4. Assist with meal preparation or pickup, serving meals and snacks as needed, and assist with maintaining cleanliness of facility.
5. Transport clients to appointments, and activities.
6. Always maintain professional and therapeutic boundaries with clients and families.
7. Communicate with supervisor relevant program information and work with others to achieve common organizational goals.
8. Attend clinical staffing, staff meetings, and trainings.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
· CPR and Medication Administration Technician certification within 90 days of hire and maintain certification
· Basic knowledge of residential safety standards and how to work with chemically dependent individuals
