Adecco Permanent Recruitment is a leading provider of connected operations and IoT-based fleet solutions, seeking a motivated Account Executive to drive new business growth across the Southeast region. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, building pipelines, and collaborating with marketing to expand market presence in the fleet and transportation sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within your assigned region, expanding market presence
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan leveraging outbound prospecting, networking, and in-person meetings
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
- Collaborate with marketing and inside sales teams to generate and develop a strong pipeline through campaigns, events, and outreach efforts
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline activity, and account details within Salesforce CRM
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by demonstrating how IoT solutions improve asset visibility, optimize operations, and reduce costs
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and regional conferences
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in outside B2B sales, preferably within SaaS, telematics, industrial IoT, or related technology sectors
- Proven success in a hunter-style sales role with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas
- Understanding of fleet operations, transportation, or supply chain environments
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, particularly with executive-level stakeholders
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office tools
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
- Must be located in the Atlanta, GA metro area
