Software Engineer (Support) #11165

ECCO Select is seeking a Software Engineering Support Analyst to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications built on modern .NET technologies. This role bridges development and operations, ensuring system reliability, troubleshooting issues, and supporting ongoing application improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for applications built using C#/.NET technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance, and data-related issues
• Collaborate with development teams to analyze bugs and implement fixes
• Support and maintain APIs and web applications built with ASP.NET Core
• Work with databases to query, update, and troubleshoot data issues in PostgreSQL
• Assist in code deployments, testing, and environment support
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement
• Document issues, resolutions, and system processes

Requirements:

• Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core
• Experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core)
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL (version 16 preferred)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and web services
• Experience troubleshooting production applications
• Familiarity with SQL queries, performance tuning, and data analysis
• Experience in a support or production support environment
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
