Cloud Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Engineer to develop cloud-based solutions for critical applications and products. The role involves creating cloud architectures, recommending tools, and collaborating with teams to overcome challenges in cloud migration.

Responsibilities:

• Create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities
• Develop cloud-based solutions for mission critical applications and products
• Use the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments
• Work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design
• Ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process
• Recommend tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and knowledge of various resources
• Collaborate with your team to help clients overcome their challenges in the cloud
• Grow skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Cloud Engineering
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining systems in an enterprise-scale secure environment
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with scripting tools, such as Python, Bash, Ansible, or PowerShell
• Experience with IaC, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Top Secret clearance
