The role involves evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and ensuring the safety of next-generation nuclear weapon systems.
Responsibilities:
- Share expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the nuclear surety of current and future ICBM systems
Requirements:
- 30+ years of experience in testing and analyzing ICBM systems
- Experience with the Air Force Sentinel, Ground Based Strategic Deterrent, ICBM system
- Experience with Air Force nuclear weapon systems
- Knowledge of system engineering and test principles
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering
- Experience with nuclear safety or nuclear surety
- Knowledge of specific systems used on ICBMs, such as the arming and fusing system
- Ability to work closely with the client team on a daily basis
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance
