The Ladder Method is a leading executive-functioning and academic-coaching company that teaches students how to learn. They are seeking a motivated, part-time Business Development Representative to help drive company growth through strategic partnerships with schools, rehabs, hospitals, and other businesses. This role focuses on outbound sales, relationship development, and revenue growth by expanding their presence within these organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new revenue by identifying, building relationships, and closing school and district partnerships
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads aligned with growth targets
- Develop customized partnership proposals that meet each school's needs and business objectives
- Collaborate with leadership to refine market strategy, pricing, and new partnerships
- Maintain accurate HubSpot records and report on outreach and conversions
- Meet or exceed quarterly goals for growth, revenue, and partnership targets
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or revenue-generating roles
- Proven track record in consultative or solution-based selling
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable owning results in a remote setting
- Familiarity with the K-12 ecosystem and student-support programs (executive functioning, SEL, or enrichment)
- Confident using CRMs, managing pipelines, and running virtual meetings
- Preference will be given to candidates located in New York or Austin
