Cloud Security Engineer

Neo by Nature is a purpose-driven organization focused on delivering secure, scalable, and innovative digital solutions. They are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to design and implement security controls across cloud environments while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud security architecture
• Monitor cloud environments for threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations
• Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies
• Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing
• Automate security controls within CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
• Respond to and investigate security incidents
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve security posture

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud security services
• Experience with IAM, encryption, and network security in cloud environments
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring systems
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security integration
• Knowledge of compliance standards and security frameworks
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP)
