Software Engineer | $55/hr Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Python Developer for contract work. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Python applications for AI-related projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications for AI-related projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying areas for optimization and improvement
• Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in code reviews
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay updated with emerging Python technologies and frameworks relevant to AI development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing applications using Python
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality, maintainable code
