They are seeking a Team Manager for Sales Engineering to lead a team responsible for onboarding and integrating complex enterprise-level customers, ensuring a high-quality experience from the start.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Sales Engineers, creating an environment where team members feel supported and empowered
- Provide day to day guidance, development, and escalation support for a tenured team
- Ensure ongoing training and enablement across technical, process, and business topics
- Identify and reduce unnecessary complexity in workflows and task-based work
- Partner cross functionally with Sales, IT, Customer Success, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners as needed
- Collaborate with your supervisor on strategic direction and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
- Experience leading or managing individual contributors in a technical or customer facing environment
- Experience supporting complex customers through onboarding, integrations, or implementations
- Proven ability to develop talent through coaching and enablement
- Working knowledge of enterprise purchasing or procurement system integrations
- Interest in operating within a specialized, evolving domain focused on enterprise onboarding and integrations
- Experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Customer Onboarding, Implementation, or Customer Success related roles
- Familiarity with enterprise eProcurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, and or Oracle
- Exposure to punchout purchasing models and buyer enablement workflows
- Understanding of procurement and integration standards including: cXMLEDIOCIPurchase Orders (PO), Purchase Order Responses (POR), Advanced Ship Notices (ASN), and e-invoicing
- Experience partnering with technical or IT teams in large, matrixed organizations
