Reddit is a community-driven platform that facilitates open conversations and hosts over 100,000 active communities. They are seeking a Staff Product Manager for Paid User Acquisition to develop a global performance marketing strategy, optimize user acquisition efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance digital advertising initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product development initiatives that support and optimize Reddit’s paid user acquisition efforts
- Define the UA roadmap, balancing long-term strategic investments with continuous optimization
- Architect robust tools and systems to build a state-of-the-art acquisition technology stack, providing visibility into performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Design seamless user flows to retain acquired users and clearly communicate Reddit’s unique value proposition
- Partner with Design, Data Science, and Engineering to build automated solutions that scale the marketing team’s ability to attract high-quality users
- Ensure attribution models, paid user funnels, and incrementality metrics are fully understood, monitored, and integrated into the decision-making process
Requirements:
- Foundational understanding of the performance marketing and user acquisition ecosystem
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience as a Product Manager for a machine learning product OR 9+ years as a Data Scientist working directly with product teams
- 2+ years of experience specifically in performance marketing or user acquisition
- Proven ability to deliver complex, scaled projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in applied statistical analysis
- Hands-on experience driving execution across all stages of the product development lifecycle
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functionally without direct authority
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and exploring data independently
- Master's or PhD in Probability, Statistics, or Behavioral Economics
