Senior Software Development Engineer (IBMi)

CVS Health is dedicated to building a connected and compassionate health experience for individuals. They are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer with expertise in IBMi application development to serve as a technical advisor, collaborating on complex projects and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with teams and serve as subject matter expert to provide bench-marked solutions to multiple, complex technical projects/initiatives using multiple interlocking technologies
• Establish and collaborate on execution of technical direction, standards, guidelines, and methodology for use of specified technologies
• Solve highly technical and complex problems for multiple projects or teams
• Educate technical staff on new and emerging technologies
• Collaborate on strategic and enterprise-wide technical direction
• Create or revise operating procedures relating to specific technologies or IS processes
• Collaborate on Database Modernization efforts
• Collaborate on Application Modernization efforts
• Mentor and train Developers and other team members on Best Practices, New features, and Enhancements on IBMi platform
