Comp Breakfast Attendant l Server

Salary Range: $17.95- $18.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Complimentary Breakfast Attendant is responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and fulfilling various guest requests. This role ensures a pleasant dining experience by providing attentive, efficient service, promptly addressing guests' needs, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the breakfast area. Additionally, the attendant may assist with setting up and replenishing the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and available for guests.

Essential Functions

• Answer questions about food and drinks, including ingredients, preparation, and accompanying items.
• Greet newly seated guests in a friendly manner.
• Take drink orders at guest greeting, deliver beverages, es and offer appetizers.
• Merchandise menu items, such as appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
• Ring up orders on P.O.S. quickly.
• Follow alcohol-awareness procedures to prevent guest intoxication.
• Attend to guests' needs when delivering food and check back to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain the table by checking drink levels, removing clutter, and providing extra napkins if necessary.
• Total the bill and present the check upon removal of the last plate or upon request.
• Maintain an accurate exchange of currency.
• Keep the station clean.
•  Keep the immediate supervisor promptly and fully aware of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

Additional Responsibilities

• Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
• The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands, and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.

Education and Experience

• Previous restaurant experience.
