Quaker Houghton is a global leader in industrial process fluids, lubricants, and coatings for the manufacturing industry. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new opportunities for the company's Impregnation products and services, driving growth, and managing strategic business plans to increase market share.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans that will generate growth, increase market share and achieve company sales and gross margin targets
- Identify new opportunities and accounts in the targeted market segments and establish programs and relationships to create product and service demand
- Prepare and create customer presentations, proposals and commercial offers that demonstrates the benefits QH’s solutions based approach
- Coordinate and manage full turnkey projects from initial concept through to commissioning
- Aids in the transfer of technology and best practices through all the organization, and conducts internal training and customer presentations
- Attend and participate in conferences and trade shows as appropriate
- Manage PAM and Service Centre optimization leader
- Directly liaise with QH marketing to enhance QH Impregnation marketing presence, in turn improving interaction & engagement with our target audience
- Actively promote collaboration with internal stakeholders, utilising QH resources to further promote impregnation within our product portfolio
- Create and manage CRM sales pipeline of key targets and opportunities to achieve individual set financial targets
Requirements:
- Home or office based
- Extensive travel (50%+) – Customer sites and company offices/laboratories for required meetings
- Maintain the Highest EHS standards of different sites visited
- Degree or recognized qualification in Chemistry, Engineering, Sales or any business-related area
- 3+ years' experience of specific industry knowledge and product chemistry
- 3+ years proven Business Development experience in the related market
