Kanda Software is a company in the pharmaceutical industry seeking a Sr. Program Manager. The role involves managing a development team, leading user engagement workshops, and preparing presentations for senior management, ensuring alignment and successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning activities including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Develop and maintain project documentation such as plans, schedules, budgets, and communication logs
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings to capture requirements, decisions, and dependencies
- Monitor progress using appropriate tools, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met
- Manage project risks by identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation or contingency strategies
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates on project status, risks, and changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business leaders, product owners, and technical staff to ensure alignment and feasibility
- Oversee quality assurance and ensure deliverables meet business, technical, and user expectations
- Support project closeout by capturing lessons learned, validating outcomes, and transitioning ownership to operational teams
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all project participants
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience
- PMP certification
- Must fully overlap with the U.S. workday
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Proven success managing projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong presentation making skills
- Skilled in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
- Proficient in project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and drive projects to completion
- Experience leading cross-functional or technology-driven projects
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Management, or a related field
- Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM
