Tremont Search Group is seeking a skilled professional to lead commercial initiatives for their client in the chemicals industry. The Director of Sales and Business Development will manage client relationships, ensure accurate sales forecasts, and drive the growth of the company's market share.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating regularly with customers and stakeholders regarding product specifics and applications
- Managing existing client relationships as well as well engaging new customers in order to further build US business
- Understanding all production and demand planning necessities in order to ensure accurate sales forecasts
- Attending regional conferences and visiting existing and new customers
- Managing sales budgets for existing accounts as well as forecasting for new accounts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry (or similar specialty)
- 8+ Years' experience working within chemicals industry
- Ability to travel as needed
- Experience working with highly engineered materials (resins and coatings preferred)
