About this role
Akkodis is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a Contract position. In this role, you will plan, develop, monitor, and optimize the architecture of current Cloud lock systems, focusing on large-scale applications while enhancing and supporting FedRAMP compliant infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement solutions to improve new and existing infrastructure
- Build monitoring systems, monitor the system’s health
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines
- Resolve issues related to build and deployments
- Assess existing implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations
- Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner
- Enhance and support FedRAMP compliant infrastructure
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role and experience working with AWS cloud
- Experience with Infrastructure as code, deployments done using Terraform and Ansible
- Programming experience with Python/Shell
- Self-driven and eager to learn
- Excellent organizational, analytical abilities and problem solving
- Build & Deployment Tools – Ansible/Terraform
- Monitoring Tools – Splunk/Librato/Data Dog
- Experience with designing and implementing sophisticated CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge in various system-level topics – OS, networking, file system management
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
