Product Engineer II (2522)

RISINGSUN TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Product Definition Engineer to join their Configuration Management team. This role is critical in managing the lifecycle of product data within a PLM system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with engineering and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for plant product structures within the PLM system
• Create and manage parts, specifications, design basis, and reference objects
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and maintain object attributes
• Initiate and manage Change Actions for releasing objects in the PLM system
• Maintain both standard design and project-specific product structures
• Perform Responsible Configuration Management (RCM) reviews of technical documentation
• Ensure all documentation meets configuration management requirements
• Coordinate CM activities with internal teams (Engineering, Project Management, Sourcing, Quality, Regulatory) and external stakeholders
• Develop expertise in CM processes and tools within the assigned area
• Support quality requirements, including participation in design reviews and corrective actions

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
• Knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) processes
• Ability to manage complex product structures and technical documentation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
