About this role
Brine Group is a digital commerce data analytics company. The Principal/Lead ML Engineer will develop and deliver AI and data science strategy with senior leadership, architect and build production AI systems at scale on AWS, and lead a small team of ML/DS Engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver AI and DS strategy with senior leadership
- Architect and build production AI systems at scale (AWS)
- Lead a small team of ML/DS Engineers
Requirements:
- 12+ years DS/ML, engineering, and technical leadership experience
- Expertise in statistical methods, classical ML, and design
- Architected and delivered production AI/ML systems at scale in the cloud
- Experience writing production code (Python, SQL)
- The following: Agentic AI, NLP, text analytics, LLM integration patterns, RAG architectures, MLOps, etc
- Ability to present to executive leadership and customers
- Experience in ecommerce, retail and/or classification and matching
