Project Manager

Hitachi Energy is a global leader driving innovation in sustainable energy solutions, seeking a Project Manager to lead complex projects within their Transformer Business Unit. The role involves managing project milestones, collaborating with teams, and ensuring successful delivery for strategic customers while fostering leadership and project management expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple projects with clear goals, timelines, and deliverables
• Act as the primary contact for customers and resolve escalations
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Plan and manage scope, resources, budgets, and schedules
• Oversee project documentation for scope, budget, and risk management
• Monitor progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
• Identify and mitigate risks while sharing lessons learned
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
• Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage scope, cost, and schedules
• Experience with SAP, MS Project, and other PM tools
• Knowledge of transformer manufacturing and North American energy sector
• PMP certification preferred; must obtain Hitachi Energy PM certification within 2 years
