The Senior Director of Solution Engineering, Enterprise will lead the Solution Engineering organization for the US Enterprise Team, focusing on customer relationships, team development, and strategic execution.
Responsibilities:

- Build a leadership team who care first and foremost about the customer, coaching and developing their people
- Be creative and bespoke in your approach with a high focus on individual connections
- Exemplify and support the navigation of technical sales and the building of critical relationships, including executive sponsorship of large enterprise customers
- Represent Solution Engineering locally and globally, building relationships with key business partners and stakeholders
- Use these relationships to ensure the success of Cloudflare and our Customers
- Help build out goals for each team member detailing their respective career path, areas of improvement and help drive the right behavior while motivating and energizing the team
- Conduct 1:1 as well as team meetings to ensure progress and remain proactive on opportunities and team situations
- Represent and Evangelize Cloudflare externally at Developer, Community, Technology, Cybersecurity and Industry focused events with thought leadership and expertise
- Be the voice of your customers in your region - you will understand the nuanced requirements of the countries and markets that make up your region, and you will need to represent them to ensure their needs are met
Requirements:
- Experience in leading and developing a diverse team in a technical sales environment
- Ability to create an environment of psychological safety and encourage collaboration and innovation
- Strong customer-centric approach with experience in engaging directly with strategic clients
- Proven ability to articulate and execute regional vision and strategy
- Experience in building and leading a leadership team focused on customer care and development
- Ability to navigate technical sales and build critical relationships with executive sponsors of large enterprise customers
- Experience in representing Solution Engineering to key business partners and stakeholders
- Ability to set goals for team members and drive the right behavior while motivating the team
- Experience in conducting 1:1 and team meetings to ensure progress and address team situations
- Ability to represent and evangelize Cloudflare externally at various industry events
- Understanding of the nuanced requirements of different countries and markets
