Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS: Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Use Creo CAD to create 3D parametric models of components.
Maintain and report on clearances for stationery and moving parts.
Basic understanding of prototype and production manufacturing methods.
Ability to create technical drawings utilizing ASME Y14.5 standards.
Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Package and design wire harness routing and attachments in large assembly models.
Ability to interface with other departments to accomplish tasks.
Ability to use Windows based computers (email, general software, MS Excel, etc.).
Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Able to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work safely to comply with all business expectations.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, tasks relating to the following area will be assigned as required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic and pride in their work products.
Experience in the creation and detailing of technical drawings.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in CAD system.
REQUIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
5 + years of experience working in CREO CAD system.
Creo Cabling Tool -Electrical Harness and Wiring Routing
Windchill product lifecycle management.
Drawing, Detailing & GD&T application
Strong technical writing, communication, team, and organizational skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Working primarily in an office environment.
Occasionally work with manufacturing (support).
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
8am-4pm core work hours.
Project surge support and additional effort as needed to achieve deadlines.
