Software Engineer (Python) - Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Software Engineer (Python) to support a model-training project with a leading foundational model AI lab. The role involves building and maintaining complex, production-grade Python systems and designing modular, testable codebases using modern Python tooling and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Support a model-training project with a leading foundational model AI lab
• Build and maintain complex, production-grade Python systems used in real-world environments
• Design modular, testable codebases using modern Python tooling and best practices
• Apply advanced Python features including decorators, generators, async/await, context managers, and performance tuning
• Participate in a technical interview process centered on Python

Requirements:

• Experience working at top US tech firms
• Proven track record of building and maintaining complex, production-grade Python systems
• Deep understanding of Python language fundamentals and advanced features
• Experience designing modular, testable codebases using modern Python tooling and best practices
