JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
The Flight Test Instrumentation Technician Level III will help us maintain all aspects of the flight test systems for a variety of advanced fighter aircraft.
What You Will Do with JT4
The Flight Test Instrumentation Technician Level III will help us maintain all aspects of the flight test systems for a variety of advanced fighter aircraft. The Technician will conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college; or technical school with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory or a military equivalent is required and 7 years of hands-on experience are required for this position.
In addition, an Electronic Technician III must possess the following qualifications:
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $84,000 to $95,000 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS
A portion of the work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required.
The remainder of the work is performed near hangars, near a flight line, or in a shop environment that is moderately lighted, heated, and ventilated, and has risk for cuts and bruises from using tools in close places. Employee will frequently be exposed to hazards including but not limited to noise, moving vehicles such as forklifts and sweepers, moving mechanical parts, vibration, extreme heat, and fumes. At times, employees may encounter wet and/or humid conditions, extreme temperatures outdoors, potential electrical hazards, and elevated surfaces such as ladders or maintenance stands while performing aircraft-related tasks.
While performing job duties, employee is regularly required to lift items weighing 15 to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (anything heavier than 50 pounds requires two people or mechanical assistance). Employee may need to stand, kneel, or work in tight constrained spaces for long periods of time. Employee may work on ladders for extended periods. Employee may have to use ladders and stands to access work areas. Employee is required to report any and all unsafe conditions, question nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve hazards and provide feedback to supervisors and managers on all safety issues.
