AWS Architect - NY, Hybrid, weekly 2days

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms on AWS. This role focuses on Kubernetes-based platforms, Infrastructure as Code, cloud networking, and shared platform services to enable application and AI teams to deliver faster and more reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes platforms on AWS (EKS)
• Implement event-driven autoscaling using KEDA
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Build and maintain Helm charts for platform and application deployments
• Design and manage AWS networking components (VPCs, ALB/NLB, routing, security groups)
• Manage EC2-based workloads alongside Kubernetes platforms
• Implement and manage secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault or equivalent)
• Design and support caching layers (Redis or similar technologies)
• Collaborate with Security, SRE, and Application teams
• Develop automation and tooling using Python
• Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues
• Contribute to platform standards, documentation, and runbooks

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes on AWS EKS (production environments)
• Proven experience with KEDA (autoscaling)
• Strong expertise in Terraform (IaC)
• Experience building and managing Helm charts
• Deep knowledge of AWS Infrastructure, including:
  • VPC design & networking
  • Load balancers (ALB/NLB)
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault (or similar secrets management tools)
• Experience with Redis / distributed caching systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud networking & Kubernetes
• Experience in DevOps / Platform / SRE environments
