We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our team, supporting critical system development and process improvement initiatives within a dynamic IT environment. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design, primarily in a business process and systems integration context.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads requirement gathering sessions and facilitates workshops with business stakeholders to elicit detailed system and process requirements.
- Analyzes existing systems and business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Develops and documents business process models, including process flow diagrams, using industry-standard tools.
- Acts as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business needs.
- Creates comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and swimlane diagrams to communicate functional needs.
- Translates business requirements into system specifications, collaborating with architects and developers to design logical and physical data models.
- Ensures traceability of functional and technical specifications to original requirements, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Supports scope definition, business case development, and cost-benefit analysis to inform project decisions.
- Participates in solution design reviews, providing input to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with internal standards.
- Assists in testing activities, including review of test scenarios, validation of releases, and providing UAT support to stakeholders.
- Prepares reports, presentations, and demos to communicate project progress and solutions to stakeholders.
- Collaborates with project managers to review project scope, progress, and deliverables, including backlog grooming and ROI modeling.
- Maintains project documentation repositories and ensures proper version control and accessibility.
- Supports strategic planning efforts by contributing to roadmaps and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital or IT projects.
- Proven expertise in business process analysis, requirements elicitation, and documentation.
- Proficiency with process modeling tools and techniques, including swimlane diagrams.
- Experience with Agile, BABOK, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
- CCBA or CBAP certification.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, SQL, and data mapping
