Job Summary:

Run Executive Steering Committee and Steering Committee meetings with CFO, VP Supply Chain
Set savings targets, manage budget/projections, track gainshare performance
Review and approve savings opportunities identified by the clinical and non-clinical managers
Manage the team — direct reports include managers, consultants, analysts
Client relationship owner — the "face of Optum" to the hospital's leadership
Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to new business proposals

Required Skills

8+ years healthcare supply chain or consulting
3+ years in a director/leadership role with direct team management
Has led multi-million dollar supply chain engagements or cost reduction programs
Comfortable presenting to C-suite (CEO, CFO, COO)
Understands both clinical (implants, med/surg) AND non-clinical (purchased services, facilities) categories
BD experience — has contributed to proposals, client pitches
