Project Manager / Inside Sales Representative

Rice-Christ, Inc. is a company that has been serving the retail petroleum, automotive, and industrial industries since 1967. They are seeking an experienced Inside Sales / Project Manager specializing in lighting and controls to support their growing portfolio of projects, responsible for developing project quotations and assisting in project execution from bid through completion.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely lighting quotations
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and lighting schedules
• Perform lighting take-offs and product selections, including fixtures and controls
• Coordinate with manufacturers to obtain pricing, technical data, and lead times
• Develop pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability
• Support the sales team throughout the bidding and project lifecycle
• Prepare and submit submittal packages and pre-construction documentation
• Track, manage, and follow up on open quotations and active projects
• Assist with project coordination, including commissioning, re-aims, and field support
• Maintain and update internal pricing tools and quote databases
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers

Requirements:

• Experience in lighting, electrical, or construction environments
• Comfortable working with plans, specifications, and vendor coordination
• Prepare accurate and timely lighting quotations
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and lighting schedules
• Perform lighting take-offs and product selections, including fixtures and controls
• Coordinate with manufacturers to obtain pricing, technical data, and lead times
• Develop pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability

• Must be located in Texas (Central or North preferred)
• Standard business hours (Monday–Friday), with occasional flexibility as needed
• 3+ years of experience in lighting, electrical, or construction-related roles
• Experience with lighting controls and systems
• Background in petroleum, automotive, or QSR construction projects
• Familiarity with lighting take-off software or quoting tools
