Engineering & Architecture Lead

TriCom Technical Services is seeking a hands-on Engineering & Architecture Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of next-generation AI-powered insurance solutions. The role involves defining enterprise architecture strategy, building scalable systems, and providing guidance to engineering teams across various domains.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards and reference architectures
• Govern solution design reviews to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability
• Lead and mentor the Engineering Team to deliver high-quality, resilient solutions
• Drive engineering best practices including DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud-native development, test automation, and AI enablement
• Lead by example; designing, developing, and reviewing performant, secure code using modern tech stacks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience with 5+ years in architectural leadership
• Hands-on experience as a Technical Architect with deep expertise in building business systems and platforms
• Experience designing, building, and productionizing systems (not just POC or R&D work)
• Ability to mentor and guide mid-level to senior engineers through technical reviews
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Background in Insurtech, FinTech, or regulated financial services
• Experience delivering scalable direct-to-consumer insurance platforms and AI-driven personalization systems
• Expertise in Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), container orchestration, microservices, APIs, and serverless architectures
• Practical experience with AI/ML pipelines, data engineering, and MLOps frameworks
• Certifications including TOGAF, AWS Certified Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or AI/ML Specializations
