The role involves developing effective business strategies, coordinating with teams, and building relationships with key accounts to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective business strategies to expand our market presence and deliver comprehensive scientific solutions to our customers
- Coordinate with teams while building and maintaining senior-level relationships with key accounts to improve market share and drive revenue growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Implement strategic plans
- Ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives
- Track project pipelines
- Analyze market trends
- Provide valuable insights to senior management
- Promote Thermo Fisher's diverse portfolio of products and services
- Build long-term partnerships with industry leaders
Requirements:
- Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in business development or strategic sales with proven track record of achievement
- Leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling and strategic account management
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with ability to develop and execute strategic plans
- Experience working effectively in matrix organizations and cross-functional environments
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% as required
- Proven ability to influence and coordinate activities across teams without direct reporting relationships
- Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
- Additional relevant business education or certifications valued
- Industry knowledge of life sciences, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic markets preferred
- Experience in international business environments and working across cultures valued
