Business Intelligence Analyst

Natera is a global leader in cell-free DNA testing, dedicated to improving patient care through innovative solutions. The Business Intelligence Engineer will work with senior engineers and data scientists to design reporting solutions and build dashboards that enhance operational efficiency and patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, data pipelines, and dashboards to support PX reporting needs
• Partner with senior BIEs to build patient journey visualization tools, ensuring touchpoints across billing, support, and communications are captured
• Perform data quality checks and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI solutions into BI workflows
• Support A/B test measurement and reporting by maintaining data extracts and dashboards
• Contribute to documentation, governance, and standardization of PX reporting processes

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or related roles
• Strong SQL skills and comfort working with relational databases
• Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI, etc.)
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, able to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with A/B testing concepts and analysis
• Exposure to patient journey analytics, healthcare operations, or customer experience data
• Experience with Python, dbt, or ETL frameworks for data transformations
• Eagerness to learn modern cloud data tools (Snowflake, AWS ecosystem, dbt)
