Background:
Innosoft is seeking an accomplished Cloud Engineer to become an integral part of our vibrant team, focusing on a pivotal Infrastructure Modernization initiative. This role is central to reshaping and advancing the technology framework of a distinguished client, celebrated for its support of cultural and artistic projects. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in devising and executing avant-garde solutions, spanning AI-driven applications, streamlined document management systems, and secure data repositories.
NOTE: This is a Part-Time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and launch of an AI Chatbot initiative, delivering an intuitive and intelligent user interface.
- Design and implement a SharePoint Document Routing System to elevate document management and collaborative efficiency.
- Build and sustain an Enterprise Architecture Repository for the streamlined organization and access to critical data.
- Forge a secure data distribution system, compliant with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) guidelines.
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams to automate updates and manage sensitive data adeptly.
- Design and execute various cloud-based solutions in alignment with client specifications and industry standards.
- Craft detailed architecture diagrams, including sequence diagrams, to effectively delineate proposed solutions.
- Maintain stringent network security and adhere to government regulations and standards.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
General Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in cloud engineering with a focus on infrastructure modernization.
- Proficient management and execution of cloud migrations, with a particular focus on Azure environments, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
- Extensive experience in Azure, underpinned by a deep knowledge of cloud technologies, to contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions.
- Previous exposure to Zscaler or comparable cloud security solutions. While not mandatory, candidates with this experience will be given preferential consideration.
- A commitment to undergo Zscaler training, if not already acquainted, is essential. We prioritize continuous learning and skill enhancement, acknowledging that not all candidates may initially possess this specific training. However, willingness to engage in such training is required.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects and IT service processes, preferably with JIRA or ServiceNow.
- Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration, alongside CLI skills for efficient system management.
- Knowledge of Ansible and Puppet for automating configuration management and deployment processes.
- Skilled in Git for version control and adept at CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated capability in AI-driven technologies and a desire for continuous learning in emerging cloud solutions.
- Experience in managing SharePoint environments is an advantage.
- Comprehensive understanding of IP networks, network security, and adherence to government regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical ideas clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement intricate cloud architectures and systems, including the creation of detailed architecture diagrams.
- Familiarity with government compliance standards, with an emphasis on robust security and data privacy practices.
- Team player with the capacity to navigate a dynamic team environment and manage concurrent projects.
