Ektello is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) within their Payments organization. The role involves driving execution of strategic initiatives by connecting Engineering, Product, and Operations, while ensuring payments infrastructure is robust and scalable.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Velocity: Improve the quality and speed of work across cross-functional teams by identifying technical trade-offs and streamlining processes
- Lead Through Ambiguity: Take vague, complex problems and decompose them into actionable frameworks and executable plans
- Influence & Align: Use data-driven persuasion to align stakeholders, motivate teams with a clear vision, and ensure accountability across the finish line
- Portfolio Management: Develop a bird’s-eye view of Payments programs to ensure technical feasibility and end-to-end delivery
- Execution Leadership: Lead the planning and delivery of large-scale initiatives aimed at boosting technical team productivity
- Dependency Mapping: Align with stakeholders to manage cross-functional dependencies for bi-annual release planning and risk mitigation
- Strategic Communication: Provide leadership with visibility into execution status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and critical decision points
- Process Excellence: Partner with developers to enforce high-quality documentation and implement best practices that simplify how we operate
- Trust Building: Foster an atmosphere of trust, inspiring teams to do their best work while quickly addressing impediments
Requirements:
- 10+ years in the software development industry, with at least 7 years specifically as a Technical Program Manager
- B.S. in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- A proven ability to work calmly through ambiguity, framing challenges and driving them to completion
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence others and integrate feedback into a cohesive strategy
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the flexibility to work across teams with different operating cadences
- Excellent written and oral skills, capable of communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Asana, Jira, or equivalent task management ecosystems
- Experience building or managing large-scale ML/AI platforms
- Direct experience with the feature development of AI-powered product experiences
