Akamai Technologies is a leader in cloud services, dedicated to powering and protecting online experiences. They are seeking an Associate Cloud Support Engineer to partner with customers, resolve technical issues, and ensure satisfaction with their products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that our customers remain happy with our products and services
- Working with customers to own and solve their technical problems
- Acting as the main contact to proactively analyze and solve technical issues
- Collaborating and working closely with internal cross-functional teams to drive problems to resolution
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or High School Diploma in a related subject
- Have an Understanding of VPN & Proxies
- Have an understanding of cloud provider ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, etc
- Have an understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS
- Have Exposure to layer 3 / 4 technologies
- Have a natural ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with customers in difficult environments
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills
