The Senior Product Manager will drive innovations in AI-enabled clinical genetic interpretation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions while ensuring clinical quality and data privacy.
Responsibilities:
- Define the Vision: Articulate the "why" and "what" behind efficient, AI-enabled clinical genetic interpretation, review, and sign-out, ensuring the team solves high-impact problems before a single line of code is written
- Accelerate Innovation: Drive the AI-driven "idea-to-prototype" cycle, testing and validating multiple solutions in days, not months
- Simplify Complexity: Distill nuanced clinical needs into elegant, scalable product requirements while maintaining a relentless focus on priority
- Balance & Scale: Navigate high-stakes tradeoffs to deliver efficiency and scalability without ever compromising on clinical quality
- Unify Teams: Act as the bridge between lab directors, scientists, and global engineering teams to ensure seamless product releases
- Guardian of Trust: Oversee the health of your product area, including data privacy, security, and governance within our AI-driven solutions
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Deep experience or knowledge of clinical genomics and variant interpretation; you understand the science behind the software
- 3+ years of software product management experience in a biotech laboratory, ideally within a clinical setting
- Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models into production workflows—specifically how to leverage LLMs or generative tools to accelerate data interpretation and internal efficiencies
- Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to translate complex technical/biological nuances into clear, actionable product needs
- Highly organized and reliable. You thrive in ever-changing environments and have the backbone to make high-stakes, risk-based tradeoff decisions
- CLIA/CAP and/or medical device experience
- Some familiarity with SQL and relational databases, some simple programming abilities with any language
