CIQ is a company focused on building enterprise infrastructure for demanding workloads, and they are seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager. This role involves creating technical content, managing webinars, and engaging with the community to establish CIQ's credibility in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Own the editorial voice for CIQ's technical content across all formats: blog posts, whitepapers, solution briefs, case studies, and data sheets, covering the full product portfolio
- Translate complex product and engineering concepts into clear, outcome-focused narratives for developer, sysadmin, and IT decision-maker audiences, with strict messaging discipline across every asset
- Own the end-to-end webinar program and coordinate technical video content for YouTube and social distribution, including product demos, explainers, and launch announcements
- Build a recurring webinar and video calendar, in partnership with subject-matter experts and executives, that supports both pipeline goals and community engagement
- Own CIQ's technical social presence across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, and open source community channels, showing up as a credible peer, not a vendor
- Develop and execute a content strategy that grows audience and engagement, and actively participate in relevant community spaces, including Rocky Linux, r/linux, r/HPC, and GitHub
- Serve as CIQ's technical voice in industry and community settings: conferences, podcasts, panels, and open source forums
- Build relationships with developers and practitioners in the Rocky Linux, HPC, and Enterprise Linux ecosystem, and cultivate external technical voices who can amplify CIQ's story
Requirements:
- 4 to 8 years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or developer marketing in the Linux, open source, or enterprise infrastructure software space
- Demonstrated expertise in creating content for technical audiences, including developers, system administrators, and infrastructure architects
- Proven ability to own programs end-to-end with limited oversight
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of Linux: distributions, the kernel, package management, system administration, and the Enterprise Linux landscape. You can hold a technical conversation with a kernel engineer and write copy that a CISO will act on
- Proven track record creating technical content that developer and practitioner audiences actually engage with, blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, or video content with demonstrated reach and credibility
- Experience owning or significantly contributing to social media and community programs for a technical product or open source project
- Excellent written communication skills. You write clearly, precisely, and without corporate filler
- Experience working cross-functionally with product management and engineering teams in a fast-moving environment
- Familiarity with HPC, AI/ML infrastructure, Kubernetes, or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with competitive intelligence and market analysis in the Linux or open source ecosystem
- Background contributing to or engaging with open source communities, Rocky Linux, CentOS, Fedora, or similar projects
- Prior experience in a developer relations or tech evangelism capacity
- On-camera comfort and video production experience
