Flooret is expanding into the independent retail channel nationwide, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative to take ownership of a region and drive growth. This role involves establishing Flooret's presence in the market, securing product placements, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the retailer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Flooret’s independent retail strategy and grow our presence across your region
- Secure product positioning in leading independent flooring retailers
- Lead placement of samples, displays, and in-store programs
- Serve as the go-to product knowledge resource for retail partners and their teams
- Meet and exceed regional sales goals and growth targets
- Partner with Marketing, Commercial, and Operations to deliver a best-in-class retailer experience
- Take full responsibility for revenue growth and long-term profitability
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the flooring industry (manufacturer or distributor)
- Deep understanding of independent retail—how decisions are made, how products earn shelf space, and how programs succeed
- Track record of building and expanding a sales region
- Strong collaboration skills paired with a problem-solving mindset
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on, execution-focused approach
- Willingness to travel regionally and operate across multiple markets
