Senior Business Analyst

Brooksource is a company that provides staffing solutions, and they are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a focus on loan technology for one of their banking clients in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves partnering closely with IT and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that support critical banking operations and enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex business analysis initiatives and serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for loan technology platforms, systems, and workflows
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements for medium to large initiatives
• Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable documentation and recommendations
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and vendors to deliver effective solutions
• Ensure stakeholders understand impacts, risks, and dependencies related to technology changes
• Drive quality standards, governance, and best practices across initiatives
• Develop cost‑benefit analyses and assist with project financial management
• Support production systems, champion continuous improvement, and mentor junior analysts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within IT or financial services environments
• Proven experience leading complex technology or systems initiatives
• Strong understanding of banking operations and regulatory considerations
• Advanced analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and executive stakeholders
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies
