Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Remote

Kforce Inc is seeking a remote Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their team. The main function of this role is to streamline IT infrastructure management through the use of code, software products, and automation, minimizing manual effort and driving site reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Applies software engineering practices to IT operations tasks to maintain a scalable and reliable production environment for running software services
• Create a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics
• Writing and developing code to automate processes, such as analyzing logs, testing production environments and responding to any issues, so this engineer will be an expert in writing code

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field
• 3-5+ years of experience
• Proven background working in a technical, IT related position
• Knowledge of software development and coding languages Python, Golang, Java, .NET, and Node.js
• Understanding data processing
• Proficiency in configuration design
• IT Infrastructure and monitoring management systems
• Experience with tools like ELK, Grafana
