Akkodis is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical knowledge, and exceptional communication skills to liaise between technical teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budget requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring team members are aligned with project goals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and best practices
- Maintain thorough documentation of project processes, decisions, and changes
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints
- Implement Agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technical environment (8+ years preferred)
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project, Github)
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certification is a plus
