JBT Marel is seeking an Account Manager for their New Equipment Beverage division, responsible for managing account relationships and promoting customer interactions. The role involves conducting account planning, monitoring sales performance, and proactively identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct account planning jointly with customers to identify new opportunities
- Monitor sales and account performance against targets
- Own & develop customer relationship, understanding customer needs & driving comms
- Plan and host both in-person and virtual events to create new leads/opportunities
- Proactively manage opportunity pipeline of segment and ensure it is continuously filled
- Continuously engage with key/strategic accounts (both in person and onsite)
- Proactively identify new business opportunities by ensuring continuous engagement and networking (e.g., new product introductions) and support in assessing value potential for customers
- Manage day-to-day and performance of any relevant agent networks, working closely with Channel Partner Lead
- Manage relationships with low-potential, infrequent customers to identify new opportunities
- Proactively create new leads/opportunities by following up with potential new customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (e.g. marketing, business) or relevant field required
- 5+ years' experience in capital equipment sales / account management, required
- Capital Equipment for food and beverage processing
- Negotiation and contract management
