Cyber Security Analyst

CCS Global Tech is focused on cybersecurity solutions, and they are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to monitor and analyze security alerts, investigate incidents, and conduct vulnerability assessments. The role involves collaborating with IT and engineering teams to ensure security best practices are implemented and staying updated on emerging threats and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, including SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate response and remediation efforts
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support patch management activities
• Assist in maintaining and enforcing information security policies, standards, and procedures
• Support risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation
• Analyze network traffic, logs, and security events for potential threats
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure security best practices are embedded in operations and development
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or SOC operations
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) and EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, SentinelOne)
• Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, and incident response processes
• Working knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, or other security frameworks
• Security+, CySA+, or CISSP certification
