The Plumtree Group Global is an early-stage startup seeking a Full-Stack Product Engineer to take ownership of a core product, a recruiter-facing dashboard. The role involves designing and building product features, collaborating with users and the founder, and ensuring high-quality product experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build end-to-end product features for the recruiter dashboard
- Improve existing user flows to reduce friction and enhance usability
- Translate real user workflows into intuitive product experiences
- Redesign key features such as candidate submissions, role discovery, and pipeline tracking
- Build tools that make recruiters significantly more efficient in managing their work
- Work closely with the founder and team to define product direction
- Engage directly with users to understand needs and gather feedback
- Collaborate with design to deliver polished, high-quality experiences
- Focus on detail and usability to ensure the product feels fast and intuitive
- Own development across frontend and backend systems
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable application architecture
- Rapidly iterate on features based on feedback and usage data
- Contribute to initiatives across signup, activation, engagement, and retention
- Build features such as dashboards, incentives, and engagement tools
- Maintain high standards for performance, reliability, and product quality
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack software development
- Strong experience building products end-to-end (frontend + backend)
- Proficiency in modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, APIs)
- A strong product mindset — you care about users, not just code
- Ability to work in fast-paced, early-stage environments with minimal structure
- High attention to detail in product design and user experience
- Experience working in early-stage or high-growth startups
- Experience building dashboards, CRMs, or internal tools
- Familiarity with user workflows in recruiting or similar domains
- Experience contributing to product decisions, not just execution
