Ziff Davis - CNET Group is seeking a high-energy Account Executive specializing in Affiliate Sales to help develop and scale their premier commerce partnerships. The role focuses on growing affiliate revenue through a consultative approach and managing relationships with partners to execute effective commerce campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new affiliate partnerships (Direct and Network) to grow your portfolio and generate revenue streams across tech and consumer goods
- Manage a portfolio of affiliate accounts, ensuring high-quality service, timely optimizations, and the cultivation of long-lasting relationships
- Consistently work toward meeting sales targets and showcasing growth
- Use data to recommend flat-fee placements and CPA optimizations
- Develop an understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to consult clients on how CNET’s content surfaces in search and AI-driven environments
- Partner closely with internal Affiliate Operations, Editorial, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure the seamless execution of commerce solutions
- Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline, providing regular forecasting and progress tracking to management
Requirements:
- 3+ years of digital sales experience, with at least 1–2 years specifically focused on Affiliate Marketing
- Familiarity with the affiliate industry, including experience with major networks (Impact, CJ, Rakuten, etc.) and various commission structures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present confidently to partners and internal teams
- You lead by example and are known for owning your work while treating everyone with respect and kindness
- A strong interest in SEO/GEO trends is a major plus, as these drive the visibility of our affiliate-led content
