CNET Group, part of Ziff Davis, is seeking a high-energy Account Executive specializing in Affiliate Sales to develop and scale commerce partnerships. The role involves growing affiliate revenue through consultative approaches, managing affiliate accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to execute commerce solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new affiliate partnerships (Direct and Network) to grow your portfolio and generate revenue streams across tech and consumer goods
- Manage a portfolio of affiliate accounts, ensuring high-quality service, timely optimizations, and the cultivation of long-lasting relationships
- Consistently work toward meeting sales targets and showcasing growth. You will use data to recommend flat-fee placements and CPA optimizations
- Develop an understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to consult clients on how CNET’s content surfaces in search and AI-driven environments
- Partner closely with internal Affiliate Operations, Editorial, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure the seamless execution of commerce solutions
- Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline, providing regular forecasting and progress tracking to management
Requirements:
- 3+ years of digital sales experience, with at least 1–2 years specifically focused on Affiliate Marketing
- Familiarity with the affiliate industry, including experience with major networks (Impact, CJ, Rakuten, etc.) and various commission structures
- A strong interest in SEO/GEO trends is a major plus, as these drive the visibility of our affiliate-led content
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present confidently to partners and internal teams
