Senior Analyst - Business Systems

Wesco is a leading provider of business-to-business distribution, logistics services, and supply chain solutions. They are seeking a Senior Analyst – Business Systems to develop, deploy, and support business applications that enhance reporting capabilities and drive operational efficiency by partnering with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and gather requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes, gather business and technical requirements, and identify opportunities for automation and improvement
• Design, develop, test, and support solutions using .NET, SQL, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications and databases (SQL Server)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and ensure data accuracy and system reliability
• Create test cases and support QA processes using tools such as Zephyr
• Utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage work, documentation, and project tracking
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and data insights to support business decision-making
• Lead initiatives and effectively engage stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Data Analytics, or related field
• 4–6 years of experience developing and implementing business systems and technology solutions
• 3–5 years of experience gathering business and technical requirements
• Experience with .NET, SQL, and RPA tools (e.g., UI Path, MS Power Automate)
• Experience with pricing, SPA, or replacement cost applications required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
• Experience in project management, software implementation, and working within cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Familiarity with Unified Sales Desk platforms
• Experience with testing tools (e.g., Zephyr) and workflow tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
