SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Lead – Automotive Plant Launch - Hybrid
Role Summary
DXC is seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
Lead to support an automotive organization in the design, deployment, and
stabilization of SAP PM capabilities for a greenfield manufacturing plant. This
role is hands-on and onsite, working directly with maintenance teams to
transition from interim processes (e.g., Excel-based tracking) to a fully
integrated SAP PM environment aligned with plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
PM Implementation & Execution
- Lead configuration and deployment of SAP PM for plant operations
- Translate existing templates into plant-specific execution models
- Define and implement functional locations, equipment master data, maintenance
plans, and work order processes
Shop Floor Enablement
- Work onsite with maintenance teams to guide system usage and validate
workflows
- Replace manual processes with SAP-based execution
Integration with Operations
- Align PM with spare parts, procurement, and warehouse operations
- Support integration with external MRO systems
Validation & Readiness
- Support pre-production validation of maintenance processes
- Ensure PM supports commissioning and ramp-up
Hypercare Support
- Provide hands-on support during ramp-up (3–6 months)
- Troubleshoot issues impacting uptime and maintenance execution
Required Experience
- 8–12+ years SAP Plant Maintenance experience
- Automotive or manufacturing plant experience
- Experience with plant startup or major rollout
- Strong knowledge of maintenance operations and MRO processes
