Intern Model-Based Systems Engineer

Gibbs & Cox, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineering Intern. In this role, you will support the Battleship program by helping the Navy customer define requirements for ship electrical and control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support development of ship electrical system and ship control models using MBSE tools and methods
• Works under supervision on complex projects/ assignments
• Assist in translating requirements into system solutions
• Participate in team working sessions

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills working in teams
• Eligible to obtain a SECRET clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Active SECRET Clearance
• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, preferably CAMEO
• Experience with system control functions and analysis a plus
