RRD is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. The role involves managing activities related to the identification, launch, and growth of new business opportunities, including market research and competitive intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Perform market research to identify, evaluate and launch new growth opportunities
- Act as a project manager with respect to new opportunities by constructing an initial business case, identifying/researching potential partners, coordinating market research, and coordination with marketing to develop sales and marketing materials
- Identifies what is important to track within their selected markets and reports on developments
- Tracks and reports various performance metrics and modifies projections as appropriate based on insights drawn from industry events, customer behavior, technology developments, etc
- Provides ongoing competitive intelligence on competitors
- Act as a consultant by becoming a subject matter expert in a particular area and coach others as they launch similar initiatives
- Perform other duties and participate in special projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
- 3+ years experience in business development, contracts, licensing or marketing
- Well developed research skills
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Strong financial background
- Demonstrated project management skills
- General comfort in working with ambiguity
- MBA preferred
