IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights, and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. The Product Owner will provide senior-level expertise in managing enhancements to IQVIA’s Laboratory Technology Management Systems, collaborating with various stakeholders to translate complex business needs into effective system solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the LTMS product backlog, roadmap, and prioritization across competing business demands
- Translate laboratory and operational business needs into clear, actionable system requirements and user stories
- Define system scope, objectives, and standards while ensuring alignment with enterprise laboratory workflows
- Guide and mentor Business Systems Analysts and offshore teams on best practices, documentation standards, and delivery execution
- Partner with technical teams to support system design decisions, enhancements, and modernization initiatives
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities across laboratory systems and processes
- Support cross‑functional stakeholders by resolving priority conflicts and driving consensus
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong experience supporting enterprise or client‑facing laboratory, clinical, or regulated systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex product backlogs and translate business requirements into system specifications
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Strong product ownership, stakeholder management, and decision‑making skills in complex environments
- Ability to balance strategic roadmap planning with hands‑on operational execution
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across scientific, technical, and business teams
