System One is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (Configuration Management) to support advanced nuclear power plant design programs. This role will focus on implementing and improving product-based configuration management processes to ensure consistency, traceability, and compliance across complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development and implementation of configuration management (CM) processes
- Support product-based CM, including: Bills of materials (BOMs), Dataset traceability, KPI development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve design processes and reduce risk
- Enhance and support change control processes
- Partner with PLM teams to implement improvements within Aras Innovator
- Ensure compliance with: NQA-1, ASME, NRC regulations, ISO 9001
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 10+ years of Configuration Management experience
- Strong experience with CM standards (CM2, EIA-649)
- Strong experience with Product structures & BOMs
- Strong experience with PLM systems (Aras Innovator preferred)
- Experience developing and implementing CM processes and procedures
- Background in highly regulated environments (NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B preferred)
- Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Experience in nuclear or power generation industry
- Configuration Management certification (CM2-C or similar)
- Familiarity with DOE regulations (10 CFR Part 810)
